We work as a customs agency in imports, dividing the process into three phases: administration, inspection and exchange. PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES - ADMINISTRATIVE PHASE

The administrative phase of the import process refers to preparation procedures and government agency requirements to get the Import License.

Our competencies:


Draft and track the Import License (L.I.);

Pre-calculation and cash request;

Quote and indicate an international freight carrier;

Estimate the costs of the import steps;

Qualification in SISCOMEX (Brazilian Integrated International Trade System);

Administrative control in SECEX (Brazilian International Trade Secretariat) and/or authorizing agencies, if required;

Authorization requests for Back to Back operations;

Purchase orders for imports;

Import License in DECEX, in Brasilia, to make the importation of ‘Used Capital Goods’ without a National Equivalent feasible;

Specialized support in imports of new and old cars;

Draft and track the order’s import documents:

Bill of lading or equivalent document;

Commercial invoice, signed by the exporter;

Packing list;

Certificate of Origin.

Documentation analysis for shipment;

Released cargo or goods shipment;

Monitor shipments by air, sea or road.




CONFERENCE AND CUSTOMS CLEARANCE – INSPECTION PHASE

The inspection phase of the import process includes customs clearance and checking the accuracy of the data submitted by the importer. This step takes place after the goods have arrived in Brazil and also includes the payment of taxes.

Our competencies:


Importer identification;

Verification of goods and information regarding their nature, tax classification, quantification and value, in addition to complying with all import obligations;

Receive and track documentation for the import customs clearance (nationalization);

Customs clearance support;

Documentation management with the Brazilian Internal Revenue Service;

Draft and registration of the Import Declaration Form (IDF);

Administrative control in SISCOMEX (Brazilian Integrated International Trade System);

Assistance with special and atypical customs systems;

Payment of taxes and fees payment (ICMS and AFRMM - when needed);

Clearance of goods.




GOODS DELIVERY - EXCHANGE PHASE

The exchange phase of the import process refers to the foreign currency purchase required for payment and other financial procedures by the Central Bank of Brazil.

Our competencies:


Analysis of the required documentation from the importer and depositary;

Discharge support;

Goods verification;

Internal road transport of cleared goods;

‘Anticipated shipping’ and ‘fractionated shipping’;

Financial Operations Registry Control (ROF);

Issuance of drafts and entry bills;

Container reusing coordination;

Payment of taxes and fees payment.

PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES - ADMINISTRATIVE PHASE

The administrative phase of the export process refers to preparation procedures and government agency requirements to execute the exportation.

Our competencies:


Adaptation to national and international export regulations;

Company registration and accreditation as an exporter in the DECEX/SECEX, Brazilian International Trade Secretariat and/or authorizing agencies when needed;

Estimation of domestic and international freight;

Indication of storage costs;

Estimation of costs by export procedures;

Planning of the FOB (maritime) price, or FCA (air) or Incoterms;

Shipping and insurance payments by Incoterms modality;

Issue and submit the Pro Forma invoice for the importer;

Purchase Order receipt;

Register the export register in SISCOMEX (Brazilian Integrated International Trade System);

Draft and tracking of the Export Order:

Export Declaration;

Simplified Declaration Procedure at Export;

Presence of the cargo;

Purchase Order Request.

Analysis and checking of export procedure data;

Hiring of international shipping company;

WITHDRAWAL OF GOODS – EXCHANGE PHASE

The exchange stage refers to the receipt of payment by a Brazilian Bank and other financial export procedures by the Negotiating Bank in Brazil.

Our competencies:


Draft of the Commercial Invoice, Packing List and Certificate of Origin;

Export Credit management;

Quotation of the exchange rate with the Negotiating Bank in Brazil;

Monitoring of the goods’ arrival;

Payment processing by the Negotiating Bank in Brazil;

Assistance in special and atypical customs systems, such as Drawback.
